Yah - thats right - I ate an italian chicken sandwich at Burger King to congratulate myself at lunch - no fries.....and used a DOUBLE $6 coupon at Shaws for diapers and dog food.

I seriously live on the edge man.

He was spinning around the living room, tripped and landed on his eye .....on the seat of his Smart Cycle. He has a big black eye with a big gash. He looks like he was boxing. I feel so bad for him. I might take him to the Dr.'s so they can check it out.

Stranger Than Fiction - took me 3 days to watch. I cried at the end. I really liked this movie. I liked it a lot.

I think I could add it to my list of movies I like...

Its raining like someone is watering my house with a water cannon.

Jack and I spent a lot of time down the basement today - trying to condense boxes and get rid of stuff. I found a box of my old teaching stuff. I found pieces of this poster I made in my Kindergarten class I taught. One of the dads in the class found a bunch of turtle eggs and he brought them in. We waited the 3 months for them to hatch - but they wouldnt hatch - so we were about to give up and throw them out - they were smelly even....and just as we began to disassemble the tank - they started to hatch! I ended up with a turtle - who I named Frank - after my grandfather - and later released into a pond (he was a snapping turtle). The poster pieces had pictures of my teaching buddy Elaine on it. I loved Elaine. She always told me to take advantage of every good thing in life. She died a few years ago. It was so nice to see her hand writing and to see a glimpse of her in action in the photos. If Elaine was alive....I know what she would tell me to do with my life right now. There are some special people in your life like this....and you should thank your lucky stars for all of them. I hear you loud and clear Elaine. I love you.

Dear Jack,

Last night you were playing too rough with me. Your pointy elbows and the twisting of your toes into my legs and chest just killed me. I know being stuck in the house all day is sometimes not enough for you. We are going back to the regular schedule next week - and Daddy starts a new job. I am excited that Spring is in the air today. It makes me think of all the fun things we can do together outdoors.
